Beyond Ordinary

  • Nature has gifted us five sensory organs for our survival.
  • With the help of technology, we can expand these sensory organs for eg. we can talk to a person 100 miles away from us, using mobile and also can watch live matches many miles away, etc.
  • No doubt that this technology has created many wonders, also our survival is better organized than ever before, we have comfort and convenience that nobody has ever imagined in past generations.
  • But many of us are not working towards the most sophisticated machine on this planet, Guess what ??? .........   The Human Being Itself.
  • Our birth is not just to live an ordinary life i.e. only for survival using our five sensory organs, also we must seek knowledge to live a life beyond ordinary and one should experience it.
  • There are various methods to unfold the other dimensions of life, one of which is an altered state of mind.
  • Let's look at the science behind an altered state of mind, (Ref: Unseen World)
  1. The use of electronic equipment to monitor brain activity has led some researcher to try to ascribe different types of altered states to the various readings obtained from brain-wave monitors.
  2. In normal circumstances, a person who is awake has brain waves ranging from 9 to 13 Hz. this is generally known as alpha waves.
  3. Those engaged in a frantic mental activity produce reading towards upper end i.e. in the beta state above 13 Hz.
  4. Those engaged in meditation can achieve rates at the lower end of this scale between 1.5 to 4 Hz. which is called as Beta state the deepest trance.
  5. Sleep and hypnotic trance generally lie in a theta state, with readings of 5 to 8 Hz.
  • The Yogi, one who has experienced this state of mind called as Beta state is in the deepest trance and can practice it consciously for a longer period of time.
  • Look a drunken man can also achieve this state of mind, but only for a very limited period of time and at the same time a person weakens their health as well. So the choice is yours.

Solitude

SOLITUDE:

  • Hmm... when you say solitude you either think of being alone or listening to your favorite jams or its just you in a quite place counter questioning your existence or in a messed up room you haven't gotten out in months cause its too cruel outside and your crippling depression is eating your soul out.
  • Some people like being alone while some of them kinda force themselves into being alone as they find difficult to solitize around. Solitude is really precious if you actually know how to utilize and enjoy it to the fullest.
  • Let us get to the cons first, the more cursed side of solitude. So just imagine you're in a room with absolute silence and no one is around you, a 60-watt bulb just flickering enough for you to see your shadow as you sit on your couch and there is absolutely no movement... like no movement at all... not even a creek or a whoosh. Now does this sound scary or interesting to you? If it's interesting then you love being with yourself and don't mind sparing some time with your world full of thoughts. But most of the people find it scary as they are not accustomed to them that there is no other person in their vicinity.
  • Most people living in metropolitan don't realize this but they do have a habit of listening to an aura of noise... crackles, chuckles, laughter, gibberish talks, cars, etc... etc... we don't really notice but there is always sound which keeps up away from feeling empty or being lonely.
  • Albert Einstein once said, "I take time to go for long walks on the beach so that I can listen to what is going on my head if my work isn't going well".
  • When was the last time you listen and visualize what's going in your imagination?
  • We always take care of our personal belongings, we keep it clean, maintain it from time to time.
  • But we never look inwards, we never intend to clean our inner self.
  • If you are alone and you feel miserable, obviously you are in a bad company.
  • Imagine a situation that you are alone and feeling bliss within the inner self, isn't it the greatest feeling.
  • Having said that lets on the positive note, let us get to the pros of solitude.
  • You don't have to worry about anyone's judgment and opinions. you are in your own space with your own thoughts and are not obliged to give a damn of what anyone has to say about your thoughts.
  • you can run your fingertips over the human-shaped silence... the solitude has to offer.
  • slow down your brain, everything and everyone around you will slowly start fading away and you can finally let yourself be calm and composed for all the challenges you have in life.
  • All emotions are temporary but all of them matter and solitude would make you realize this.
  • Please do comment if you like it, thank you.
